ABOUT US

Born from a series of flyers spanning the campus of Miami University, Thumbtack Mechanics started in 2022 as a haphazard group of college students and has since transformed into one of the most respected bands currently on the Oxford scene. Taking influence from revered classic rock artists like Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles, as well as more recent bands like The Backseat Lovers and The Strokes, Thumbtack Mechanics plays shows around Oxford, OH that appeal to a wide range of listeners. They currently have a 4-month residency at Brick Street Bar in Oxford while they work on an album.

Thumbtack Mechanics is a 7-piece band consisting of drummer Brock Shults, keyboardist Sara Noall, lead guitarist John Cronin, rhythm guitarist and founder Miles Lynn, bassist Zach Hillman, and vocalists Jane Feck and Ethan Kraus, all of which are either Miami University alumni or current undergraduates on campus.
